Ramsey pegged back at Birchfield

Ramsey were pegged back and had to settle for a draw at Birchfield in South Lancashire/Cheshire Division Three.

The northerners led for 70 minutes away but surrendered two converted tries in the closing stages to share the spoils.

Ali Trace’s first half try, converted by Dan Bonwick, saw the Manx side 7-0 ahead at the break.

Abuu Migoda crossed for a second Ramsey try early in the second half and when Bonwick converted they were 14-0 in front.

Late in the half, however, Moore slowed the game to their pace and replied with two converted tries of their own to share the points.
