The miserable run of results for Manx clubs continued when Ramsey went down 17-15 away at Port Sunlight in South Lancashire/Cheshire Division Four.
The home side quickly grabbed a 14-0 lead as Ramsey struggled to shake off the exertions of the trip across.
In the second half, the Manx side hit back and tries from Lance Wyllie and Ben Harding, plus a conversion and a penalty from Fintan Cummins, put them into a 15-14 lead.
A late penalty, however, handed the points to Port Sunlight.
