FC Isle of Man looking to make it three unbeaten this weekend
FC Isle of Man will be hoping to follow up a narrow victory last time out with a result on the road in the NWCFL Premier Division this weekend.
With a win and a draw in their last two, the Manx side will be aiming to make it three unbeaten when they face Barnoldswick Town across the water tomorrow (14 February).
The reverse fixture between the sides - a 2-1 Barnoldswick Town win at The Bowl in October - was FC Isle of Man caretaker manager, Rick Holden's first game in charge.
He's hopeful of a change in fortunes this time around, and told FC Isle of Man's club media where his team are headed to is a part of the world he knows well:
Just three points separate Barnoldswick Town in 20th spot in the table and FC Isle of Man in 19th ahead of this weekend's meeting, with the hosts having currently played four games less than their visitors.
Another uplift in form for FC Isle of Man recently has seen them lose only one of their last four, including two wins and one draw in that time.
The Islanders have won on two of their previous three visits to the Silentnight Stadium, the most recent of those a 3-1 win in September 2024 early in the previous campaign.
Barnoldswick Town, meanwhile, will be keen to end a run of five matches without a win and are also unbeaten in their last two encounters (one win and one draw) against FC Isle of Man.
More broadly, it's been nip-and-tuck between both teams in all results to date with 'Barlick' winning three of the seven clashes so far, FC Isle of Man emerging as winners in two along with two draws.
Barnoldswick Town vs FC Isle of Man will take place this Saturday (14 February) at the Silentnight Stadium, kicking-off at 3pm.
