Meeting to make comeback after three-year absence
One of the Isle of Man's rallying events is set to make a return for the first time in three years.
The Chris Kelly Memorial Rally is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 4 October having last ran on Manx shores in 2022.
Its organisers, Manx Auto Sport says it's planning a 'compact one-day rally offering 54 stage miles' with competitive action starting at around 9am on the day and finishing at approximately 4.30pm.
The meeting is expected to feature eight closed road special stages, each of them around seven miles long and a maximum size field of 60 cars.
Mark Ellison of Manx Auto Sport says: "We're delighted to confirm the return of the Chris Kelly Memorial.
"We wanted to run a second event and this format has come together very well. Our plan now is to return to having two closed road rallies on the island each year.
"We have the permit from Motorsport UK so we are all systems go."
Entries for the rally have now opened with 60 spaces available with priority given to Manx Autosport Championship entrants who enter within the first seven days.
