Travel and accommodation likely to cost £3,000 per game
Manx rugby clubs due to play in the UK may have to find an extra £3,000 for travel to each fixture.
The RFU has cut its travel budget, which previously helped Island sides pay for flights and accommodation.
Flight schedules could also prove a challenge when the sport resumes following the loss of Flybe earlier this year, and uncertainty over other operators.
Manx Radio's rugby correspondent Dave Christian says it's a big cost for local sides to make up:
Hockey: Under-14 boys heading to England Championship final
TT 2026: 20-year-old to make debut this summer
Hockey: Under 16 girls beaten in England Championship Semi-Final
Rugby: Island ladies selected for UK side
