He replaces Paul Jones who stepped down earlier this week
Rick Holden has been appointed as caretaker first team manager of FC Isle of Man.
The former Manchester City and Oldham Athletic player will take charge of his first match on Saturday, 4 October when the Manx side host Barnoldswick Town in the NWCFL Premier Division.
Announcing the appointment, FC Isle of Man says Mr Holden will bring a 'wealth of football knowledge' to the role and has 'built a strong coaching reputation through his work with local clubs and the Isle of Man FA men's representative side.'
He replaces Paul Jones who stepped down as the club's first team manager earlier this week.
