Peel started off their campaign in the Warehouse Fitness League with a 7-0 win over Castletown.
Goals from Maxine Smalley (two), new signing Sarah O’Reilly (two), Ellan Cleator, Vanessa Roberts and Nicola Naden ensured a comfortable afternoon for the westerners.
Douglas Royal also got their season off to a winning start with a 7-3 victory at Gymns.
The markswomen for the Ballafletcher outfit were Donna Shimmin (two), Angela Waite (two), Bekkie Cole (two) and Kym Hicklin.
The Tromode side’s response came via Alannah Hall (two) and Eleanor Gawne.
