Vagabonds take friendly win over IoM Barbarians
Report by Dave Christian:
Douglas made it three defeats from three when they lost 21-17 to Liverpool St Helens at a windy Port-e-Chee.
Tries from Rob Todd and Luca Simmons plus two conversions and a penalty from Luke Hyland looked to have given Douglas a good lead.
Playing into the strong wind in the second half however was tough going and the visitors eventually snatched the win.
The result leaves Douglas next to bottom in the standings with a trip to bottom club Vale of Lune next week.
