Rugby Party Time

Rugby will be the centre of attention in the Isle of Man on Saturday evening, with thousands tuning in to watch England play South Africa in the World Cup Final.

The game will be screened in clubs and pubs, and many households are hosting parties for friends.

Some, like local player Bob Nicholson, are lucky enough to be in Paris. He hasn't got a ticket for the big match yet, but was able to go to last weekend's dramatic semi-final between England and France.

Bob says the atmosphere in the Stade de France was amazing:-

The Isle of Man is home to a large South African community.

Chairman of the Southern Africa Society Terry Toohey says they will all be cheering on their home country:-
