Rutter captures Junior Classic at the pits
It looked like being a start to finish number one performance for Northern Ireland's Lee Johnston in the three lap Junior Classic TT.
He built up a 20 second lead over two riders, Michael Rutter and Jamie Coward who were taking turns in second and third places behind him.
Johnston's lead doubled after two thirds of the race but, after the pit stop at the end of lap two, Michael Rutter was able to snatch the lead by some 13 seconds.
And Honda mounted Rutter, who lost his podium place in Saturday's Lightweight Classic TT through a technical infringement, took the Junior Classic ahead of Johnston with Jamie Coward third. Rutter's winning margin was just over 10 seconds.
