Zoe Gillings produced her best performance of this season's Snowboard-Cross World Cup in Austria yesterday.
She came third, having managed 13th in Saturday's round, both of which were in Bad Gastein.
She was taken out by another competitor while second in the first heat on Saturday, which led to the lower finishing position.
Zoe told Manx Radio at the end of last year that podium finishes were her target for this season, and her mother Jill says Zoe is delighted with securing third place.
It moves her up one place in the standings, to sixth, after four rounds and will also give her confidence a boost ahead of the Snowboard World Championships in Gangwon, South Korea, this coming weekend.
