Shooting: Barnett and Corlett share the wins

Honours split in sport trap league rounds four and five

The fourth and fifth rounds of the RIELA YACHTS Sport-trap league were held at Meary Veg Santon with 21 shooters taking part in round four in overcast but mainly dry conditions.

The winner of the shoot was B class shooter, Mark Barnett with 45; second place in B was Ted Kermeen with 40 with Brian Faragher in third spot on 38.

In C Class, Brian Kelly was first on 33 but we had a tie for second place between Sue Doyle and Julian Ray on 31.

In A Class, Will Rand and junior, Joe Faragher tied for first place on 42 with Mark Corrin taking third place with 40 points.

A Class =1st W Rand 22,20, J Faragher 21,21=42, 3^rd M Corrin 18,22=40

B Class 1^st M Barnett 24,21=45, 2nd T Kermeen 20,20=40, 3^rd B Faragher 18,20=38

C Class 1^st B Kelly 17,16=33, =2nd S Doyle 17,14, J Ray 17,14=31

In the afternoon, the fifth round was shot over two completely different layouts

High gun in this round was A Class, Rob Corlett with 44 with juniors, Zac Bellhouse and Joe Faragher tying for second place on 43. 

Brian Faragher and Mark Barnett shared the spoils in B Class with both scoring 39 band and in third place on 36 was Stan Cross. 

Brian Kelly was again the winner in C class with 35 points with Sue Doyle once again second on 29 and Julian Ray third on 27.
