Second year in a row with no action at Billown
The Southern 100 road races have been cancelled for the second year in a row.
The decision has been made due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and uncertainty over whether the Isle of Man borders will be fully open to general travel by July.
Alternative dates later in the year were looked at but the Chief Medical Officer expressed concern that sufficient cover could not be guaranteed.
There were similar worries about having enough marshals around the course.
The dates for the three meetings at Billown in 2022 have been released.
