Player ineligibility costs St George's
The Isle of Man FA have confirmed St George's have been eliminated from this season's Kirby Estates Cowell Cup.
It follows a rule breach in which the Glencrutchery Road side registered a temporary player despite having 20 or more already eligible.
A statement from Manx football's governing body says St George's fully accept the decision.
The FA have also cleared JCK Division Two side Pulrose United of any wrongdoing for fielding an ineligible player.
Along with the League Management Committee (LMC), the two bodies agree any error was made 'in good faith' and is down to an administration error by the player and not the club.
