He's taking up the role of lead anchor for the 2022 races

One man who'll be at the forefront of the TT races this year says he can't wait to get started in a few weeks time.

Steve Day is taking up the role of lead anchor for the 2022 races which get underway on Sunday, 29 May.

He's already a familiar voice to those who follow the developments of the likes of the MotoGP and World Superbikes.

Speaking to Manx Radio, Mr Day thinks the return of the festival after a two-year absence will be 'electric':
