One of the highlights of the local athletics calendar, the Steve Jacobs Mile, will be held at the NSC next Wednesday, June 18th.
The action gets underway at 7pm - competitors are asked to check-in at 6.30pm.
The race is held in memory of Steve, a former member of Northern and Western AC, and is handicapped in order to give everyone an equal chance of winning.
The entry fee is £2 and all proceeds go to a memorial fund, set up in Steve's name by his family, to help young up and coming athletes.
