The strength in depth in Manx Sport is shown in the release of the 2014 nomination shortlist for the 2014 Isle of Man Sports Awards.
The winners of the eleven classes will be announced at a gala ceremony at the Villa Marina on Thursday 26th March.
The Guest-of-Honour will be Athletics European 10,000 metre champion and Commonwealth Games medallist Jo Pavey.

Cycling is well represented in the Sportsman category with Mark Cavendish, Mark Christian and Peter Kennaugh all named.
They will be up against Taekwondo Champion Aaron Cook, road racer Conor Cummins, shooter Tim Kneale and Enduro stars David Knight and Daniel McCanney.
Six are up for the Sportswoman prize - athlete Sarah Astin, swimmer Charlotte Atkinson, cyclist Anna Christian, equestrian's Sue Denny, snowboardcrosser Zoe Gillings and fell-runner Jackie Taggart.
There is a new class this year for veteran sportsperson of the year.
