
Simon Skillicorn took victory in the second Isle of Man Bank sponsored Winter Hill League race at Glen Helen on Saturday.
Skillicorn held his nerve after a fast start from Ben Corkill and Jason Moore.
The experienced campaigner ultimately took a comfortable victory after being challenged in the early stages by Corkill and Moore who finished second and third respectively.
The first woman home was Rosy Craine, ahead of Northern AC teammate Judith Quane.
The performance of the day came from young David Mullarkey, finishing in a fine seventh overall.
