
Peel resident Andrew Pitt has won his third World Supersport Championship race of the season to move to the top of the overall standings.
He beat fellow Australian Julian Brookes to the chequered flag by just 0.387 of a second at the Nurburgring in Germany.
Pitt has recorded wins at Phillip Island and Assen, and leads the title tace four points ahead of Frenchman Fabien Foret.
