Yorkshireman's racing licence revoked following health scare
TAS Racing has confirmed rider Ian Hutchinson will not take part in this year's TT races.
It follows a recent health scare for the Yorkshireman where he announced on social media he'd suffered a 'stroke' whilst cycling in Spain.
The racing team says, in line with standard protocol, the 16-time TT winner's racing licence has now been revoked for 12 months.
TAS Racing says the rider's day-to-day health is of 'paramount importance' adding Hutchinson is already making a 'remarkable recovery' and has already been cleared to drive his car.
Whilst he won't be competing, the team says Hutchinson will be on Island representing both the team and Milwaukee during TT race week.
