Government looking at entertainment options for fans
There were whispers, some weeks ago now, of some sort of 'online TT' event, involving the Island's e-sports sector.
Following the cancellation of this year's festival, Enterprise Minister Laurence Skelly said his department was looking at hosting a 'virtual' competition, in lieu of the real thing.
He said representatives were working with businesses in the e-gaming sector to provide a type of online replacement, to keep fans entertained, after the success of the TT video games.
However, a fortnight later, the proposals don't appear to have progressed.
