Former Island players sweeps to another straight-sets win
Billy Harris has progressed to the quarter-finals of this year's Jingshan Open on the ATP Challenger Tour.
The former Island player defeated Canadian eighth seed Liam Draxl in straight sets (6-4, 6-4) of the men's singles competition in the early hours of this morning (26 September).
Harris - whose previous clubs include Albany and Castletown - will now face Australian qualifier, Alex Bolt in the last eight.
Furthermore, Harris is yet to drop a set at the tournament having also won in straight sets against Petr Bar Biryukov in the first round.
