Eight players selected to compete in the Faroe Islands

The Isle of Man has confirmed it's tennis team to compete at the 2027 International Island Games.

Led by team manager, Hannah Snidal, eight players will fly the Manx flag at next year's event with an even split participating across the men's and women's competitons.

In the female squad, Snidal will be joined by Charlotte Clarke, Karen Faragher and Sarah Long.

Meanwhile, the men's lineup will consist of Sean Drewry, Orry Farnworth, Nerijus Gricevicius and Will Hart.

More generally, this is the first Isle of Man squad to be declared for next year's games being held in the Faroe Islands from Saturday, 3 July to Friday, 9 July 2027.

Tennis Isle of Man says it would welcome any support from local businesses and the community to assist the team in getting to and taking part in the games, adding 'fundraising and sponsorship will play an important role in helping our players make the journey to the Faroe Islands.'

Next year will be the first time in four years that tennis has featured as a sport in the games since Guernsey in 2023.

Tennis did not feature in the most recent International Island Games in Orkney in 2025.
