Albany stalwart through to national finals
Albany Tennis Club is celebrating after one of its own has won the LTA North region Life Time Achievement Award.
Stalwart of the club Pat Sharp claimed the win and will now go through to the national LTA Tennis Awards Finals.
He'll be up against other regional winners from UK, Wales & Scotland.
The ceremony celebrates coaches, venues, volunteers, and players from the sport and features big names from the tennis world, including Johanna Konta and Dan Evans who lead the list of ten nominees for the LTA Women's and Men's Player of the Year Awards.
The virtual ceremony will be held on 24 June at 8pm.
