Rivals the North beaten 4-3 in cold and wet conditions
The South edged the North in a keenly-contested and occasionally controversial staging of the annual Boxing Day cammag match.
Outnumbered, the South decided to defend and hit their opponents on the break, and managed to score first.
What's described as an 'attritional war' broke out and by the third period the North were 3-2 up.
Then two quick goals saw the South snatch the win.
The match took place in cold and wet conditions at the Tynwald fair field in St John's, and was played in good spirit.
