Local golfing star set for Italian Open
After a recent break, local golfer Tom Gandy is back in action in the European Tour.
Gandy's last appearance was in the Scottish Championships, which, on day one, saw the Manxman on the leaderboard, and a total of 17 birdies over the four days.
The 2020 Isle of Man Sports Ambassador of the Year ended the week on a 4 under par total; just outside the top 50.
Gandy's next challenge is this week's Italian Open.
He tees off at 9.12am (local time) tomorrow (22 Oct).
