Tough week in London for Manx Missile

Manx cycling superstar Mark Cavendish goes into the World Track Championships in London this week knowing Olympic selection is on the line.

Great Britain boss Shane Sutton says a top three position in the omnium event is a must for Cav ahead of the Games in Rio in the summer.

The Manx Missile is also riding the madison with Sir Bradley Wiggins - eight years after the pair were crowned world champions.

Cavendish knows he faces an important week on the track:-

The World Track Championship runs from Wednesday 2nd to Sunday 6th March.
