Bacchas and Valkyrs will meet in showpiece

Arch rivals Bacchas A and Valkyrs A will meet in the final of the Bridgewaters Mixed Cup.

That’s after two one-sided semi-final victories on Saturday.

League champions Bacchas A are one win away from a league and cup double after thrashing Celts 8-1.

Johnny Callow (two), James Harrison (two), Freya Duchars, Kim Carney, Georgia Foxton and Jamie Brown were on target for the favourites.

Elsewhere, Gareth Morris and Imogen Manning doubles, plus an Ollie Webster strike, ensured Valkyrs A eased past Bacchas B.
