Three-strong teams to take on inaugural challenge at Mooragh Park
Triathletes on Island are preparing to take on the challenge of a brand new event for the 2024 season this weekend.
The 1886 Supersprint Triathlon Relay takes place at Mooragh Park in Ramsey on Sunday (21 July) with teams of three tackling a 400-metre swim, 6km bike route and 2.2km run.
One of the participants, Clara Isaac, got involved in the triathlon community for the first time this season.
She believes events with this shorter format could be a good way of getting more people into the sport in the long-term:
