TT 2022: Harrison on top on practice day three

Sidecars squeeze in just one lap after delays

Day three of TT practice saw more riders lap at 130mph and Dean Harrison move to the top of the leaderboard.

The DAO Racing Kawasaki rider clocked an average of 131.767mph, followed closely by Davey Todd.

Peter Hickman was the quickest in the Superstock class at 130.695mph.

Michael Dunlop and Jamie Coward topped the Supersport and Supertwin timesheets respectively.

Newcomer Glenn Irwin once again impressed with a lap of 124.797mph.

The final solo session of the day had to be stopped early after Dave Moffitt came off at Laurel Bank.

He was reported to be conscious and airlifted to hospital for treatment.

As a result, the sidecar practice was delayed for a time, but then was able to get underway at 8.39pm - albeit for one lap only.

The Birchalls, on the Haith Honda, set the pace and finished their lap at 115.663mph.

The sidecars will lead tonight's (1 June) rescheduled qualifying session.
