Rhys Stephenson to make first appearance on the Mountain Course
A 20 year old is set to make his debut at the TT this year.
Rhys Stephenson, will compete for Rocket Racing in the two Carole Nash Sportbike TT races.
He's set to ride on board a Triumph Daytona 660.
On his debut, Stephenson says: "In my first year, I’m hoping to learn the course and build confidence around the Island. I’m going in with no expectations.
"I’ve been over to the Island numerous times already to make sure I’m well prepared for my first laps and I’ll definitely be heading over to do more laps with Milky [Quayle] and John [Barton]."
The Skegness man first competed in the 2021 British Talent Cup (now Moto4), where he scored points finishes in 14 of 18 races.
Stephenson then followed that up with six podiums in an impressive 2022 season.
After another year in the talent cup, the 20-year-old move to the Pirelli National Sportbike Championship in 2024, where he secured a best finish of second at Thruxton, and finished eight overall.
2025 saw multiple podiums, lap records and two pole positions in the competition.
Stephenson added: "I’m super excited to get out on the road and go down Bray Hill for the first time."
