Rider suffered serious injuries during practice
Island rider Ryan Cringle has announced he will not compete at this year's TT after picking up a back injury.
The TT's best newcomer of 2023 announced the news on social media after fractures to the spinous processes T3, T4 and T5.
Cringle was high-sided from his 450 KTM during round two of qualifying in the British Supermoto Championship at Teeside Autodrome on Friday.
The 31-year-old said he is in 'a lot of pain' and 'disappointed to find myself in this position just two weeks before the start of the event'.
