Untimed TT practice cut short by weather

Windy and showery conditions hamper session

Tuesday evening's TT practice session managed to go ahead for a while, albeit untimed.

Organisers took the decision beforehand because of the windy conditions and predicted showers.

There was a little rain earlier on, but not enough to stop the first part of the session.

Speaking after they had been out for their first lap, Ryan Farquhar, Lee Johnston and firstly Conor Cummins gave their thoughts to Manx Radio TT:

The second part of the solos session was cut short not long after 7.30pm, when it started raining more heavily.

Then after 8pm, as the sidecars were due to go out, it was announced the session was done for the night, because of the wet conditions on parts of the course and what was described by Clerk of the Course Gary Thompson as a 'huge spillage' of oil at Laurel Bank.
