Lintin returns to role as retained firefighter
An Isle of Man TT race winner who suffered life-changing injuries at the Southern 100 three years ago has returned to his role as a retained firefighter.
Following the accident it looked as if Ivan Lintin would never be able to live a normal lifestyle.
He suffered multiple bleeds on his brain as well as a broken leg, ribs and pelvis and spent several months in hospital.
The two-time TT winner says he's delighted he's overcome the odds to be part of the fire crew again at North Hykeham in Lincolnshire:
Hockey: Bacchas Mens and Valkyrs Ladies among sides to progress from cup first round
Rugby: Douglas keep playoff hopes alive
Football: Castletown close in on Division 2 leaders
More men on the Island getting involved in netball
