Two Manxmen will be part of the British Olympic cycling squad.
Mark Cavendish will compete in the Madison, while Jonny Bellis will be in the Men's Road Race.
The Olympics are being held in Beijing from August 8 to 24.
Meanwhile, Cavendish was in action in the Tour de France again today, finishing 143rd in a 29.5 km time trial.
That put him four minutes, five seconds behind the stage winner, and means he is currently 98th overall.
Although he had to finish within reasonable time of the winner or face elimination, in a post-race interview Cav admitted he had treated today as a rest opportunity, ahead of tomorrow's 232km stage.
