
Vagabonds B secured the first domestic silverware of the season beating Douglas B 16-5 to win the Manx Plate.
Vagas led 6-0 at half-time courtesy of two Michael Oates penalties.
In the second half, Flo Venter added a try for Vagas and with Oates adding the conversion, plus another penalty, Vagas were 16-0 in front with 10 to play.
Mark Dimsdale bagged a late score for Douglas but it was too little to prevent Vagas’ skipper Matt Rockwell from lifting the Plate.
