Vagabonds lost by another narrow margin in EuroManx South Lancashire/Cheshire Division One when they went down 13-11 away at Bowden.
Vagas led 6-5 at half time thanks to two Jonny Beckley penalties in a game dominated by the very strong wind.
Jason Bowden crossed for a try in the second half to push the lead up to 11-5 and, even when Bowden clawed back a late penalty to make it 11-8, the Manx side still looked safe.
However, Bowden hit back late in stoppage time with a try to take the lead and the points on what was a disappointing day for Vagas.
