Ramsey beaten at Christleton
Relegation threatened Vagabonds looked much better than last week, but crucially were unable to take points from relegation rivals Oldershaw who won 25-10 at Ballafletcher.
Tommy Rowley crashed over for Vagas to open the scoring but Sean Cassidy pulled one back for Oldershaw to leave the teams tied 5-5 at the break.
Mark Hallam added a try, a conversion and a penalty in the second half to send the visitors clear.
Mike Chapman knocked over a second Oldershaw penalty before prop Tom Cassidy secured the result with a late try which Chapman also converted.
Vagas did pull back a consolation try in stoppage time, courtesy of James Clarke, but it was too little too late.
In Division Three, Ramsey lost 49-26 away at Christleton in what was effectively a dead rubber for them.
They did, however, take the opportunity to blood some new players with seven 17 year-olds taking the field.
Skipper Dan Bonwick returned to action with two tries and there were also scores from Neil Long and John F Watling as Ramsey picked up a try bonus point.
Scott Kneale added three conversions.
