Vagabonds finally got the wheels back on their wagon with a 15-11 win over promotion chasing Anselmians in South Lancashire/Cheshire Division One.
The visitors went ahead after just 30 seconds with a well taken try but Vagas soon hit back.
Tries from Arno Cruywagen and Andy Pease, plus a conversion from Tom Chamberlain, ensured they led 12-5 at half-time.
Anselmians came back strongly in the second half but Vagas held on and a Chamberlain penalty put enough daylight between the teams to allow Vagas to hold on for the win.
