Vagabonds were pegged back and had to settle for a share of the spoils against Crewe & Nantwich.
Vagas led 23-6 at half-time but Crewe came back strongly in the second half as the match finished 30-30.
Leigh Kennaugh’s try, penalty and conversion put Vagas 10-0 up early on before Jamie Little bagged two penalties for Crewe to keep them in touch.
Tries from Ross McCulloch and Johnny Beckley pushed Vagas further in front to give them a commanding lead at the break.
However, Crewe hit back before a timely try from Ryan Windell earned Vagas the try bonus point and Beckley’s conversion was enough for the draw.
