Mark Walton won Sunday’s third round of the Up and Running Winter Walking League at St John’s in a time of one hour, 19 minutes and 15 seconds.
He finished ahead of Gianni Epifani and Ray Beattie in the handicap event.
Caroline Wright, Janette Morgan (quickest in actual time – 58.01) and Alison Kenyon were the top three women.
Adam Cowin was first in actual time (49 minutes, 26 seconds) from Jock Waddington (55.50) and Tony Mackintosh (56.19).
Tom Partington was in impressive form in the open 5km event, winning in 47.15, an actual time of 25 minutes 34 seconds.
Leah Goddard was the junior 3km winner, Archie Walter edging it in actual time, while Olivia Corran won the junior 1 km class.
The race also featured four and five year-olds Jessica and Craig Cale who took part and completed the course.
