Skipper leads team to big win
Ollie Webster has smashed the first century of the season.
The Peel & St John’s captain hit 105 not out from 64 balls in yesterday’s T20 match against Castletown.
His innings included 8 fours and 5 sixes.
The Mullen-e-Cloie club made 196 for 4 with Peter Lewis giving good support with 34 from 31 balls.
In reply the Town struggled to 72 for 9 and were indebted to opener Dan Laughlin who scored 26.
Nick White and Dan Hawke took two wickets each while Webster crowned a memorable evening with 3 wickets for just six runs.
