Corinthians kept alive their hopes of securing the runners-up spot in the Canada Life Premier League on Saturday.

They won 3-1 at St John’s who had taken an early lead.

Sean Doyle levelled from the penalty spot before an own goal and Luke Murray earned the points for Corinthians in the second half.

After a goalless first half, two quick fire goals from Josh Thomas and Craig Murphy fired Old Boys to a 2-0 victory at Laxey.

Colby are safe and Union Mills all but down after the southerners saw off the Millers 4-1.

Two goals in each half from Andy Blake (two), James Collett and Jordan Primrose Smith sealed the points for the hosts.

Marown put seven past Malew without reply in JCK Division Two.

Joey Rothwell (two), Connor Gilbert, Kevin Druggan, Bobby Thorn, Paul Timpson and Alex McQuarrie were the men on target.
