Vikings A 1-2 Bacchas A
A goal from Andy Whiting either side of half time helped Bacchas A to a 2-1 victory over title rivals Vikings A at the NSC on Saturday in the PwC Mixed Premier League (17 November).
Kim Carney halved the deficit but they couldn't find an equaliser to get the point they needed to be crowned champions.
It means Vikings will have to win by two clear goals in their final match of the season if they're to end their 29-year wait for a top flight win.
If they fail to do so, it would see Bacchas A claim the title for a seventh successive season.
