Braces for Furo Davies and Ashley Higginbotham in 7-1 win
The Isle of Man men's football team opened their campaign at the Ynys Mon tournament with an emphatic 7-1 win over Hitra.
Stephen Whitley broke the deadlock with just under half an hour played, as the Manx side opened up a 3-1 advantage by half time.
Furo Davies and Ashley Higginbotham both scored twice, while there was also a goal for 18-year-old Jacob Crook.
Manx Radio's Football Correspondent Tony Mepham was impressed with the performances of some of the younger members of the squad:
The men's side play again tonight, knowing that a win over Alderney will send them through to the semi-finals. Kickoff is at 6pm.
