All ages and abilities welcome
IOM Cricket's Women and Girl's Softball Festival is taking place this Saturday (7 Aug).
Union Mills is hosting the event, with the action getting going on the top football pitch at 2pm.
All ages and abilities are welcome, including complete beginners.

Also, brand new for 2021, is the female soft ball knock out cup.
Female soft ball cricket is a short and fun version of the game using a soft cricket ball and plastic bats. The game is designed to give everyone a fair opportunity to bat, bowl and field, making it a brilliant way for females of all ages and abilities to play the game.
The IOMCA is looking for teams of 6 to enter and the teams can be made up from cricket clubs, sports teams, work colleagues or a group of friends.

It's open to female players of all ages and abilities. Equipment can be provided.
