CAMRA apologises for festival queues

The Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) says it's already looking at ways to improve its Beer and Cider Festival for 2016.

More than 10,500 pints of ale and cider were sold with 3,000 people through the doors.

The event was moved from the Masonic Hall to the Villa Marina to accommodate more customers, but at times people queued for hours and were turned away.

CAMRA Media Liaison Alan Cooper has apologised for the long wait to get served and says there will be a major rethink next year.
