UK election result to impact Island's Brexit stance

The Island will have a better idea of its own Brexit negotiating stance in Europe, just after the start of June.

Chief Minister Howard Quayle says the result of the UK General Election could give important indicators as to the kind of Brexit that will develop.

A Conservative win, with a large majority would result in a vastly different political horizon to, say, a narrow win with a small majority or even a Labour party win.
