Exploring Island Heritage - Tuesday, 2nd October 2018

As we continue to explore aspects of the Island’s heritage, this week the focus is on the natural history and archaeology collections held within the Manx Museum.

We’ll find out more about the sorts of items held in the stores, why they’re collected, and just what they can tell us about the Island’s history, from Curator of Natural History Laura McCoy, and Curator of Archaeology Allison Fox.

There are a number of opportunities to find out about the Island’s heritage during the first two weekends of October as part of this year’s Heritage Open Days – find out more on the Manx National Heritage website.
