Late Lunch listen again: Bannaghtyn and boy bands

On Late Lunch this Monday afternoon we reflected on the wonderful collaboration between Isle of Man Post Office (Oik Postagh Ellan Vannin) and Culture Vannin to encourage popular use of the Manx language in time for our national week.

There is a joyful set of six stamps designed by the Manx artist Mary Cousins. A story in pictures of a day in the life of two Manx mice forms an introduction to basic greetings in Manx Gaelic.  Beth and Christy attempted to include some in their conversation today - hopefully they'll get better as the week goes on.  Find out more about the stamps here.

The question of the best boy band in the world ever was also raised today.  On the Manx Radio Facebook page it seemed there was only one real winner.  Check it out here...

The Late Lunch Charity of the Week is Isle Listen, you'll hear more about them over the next few days.

The Soul Starter today was 'People Everyday' by Arrested Development and the Jukebox was a battle between Blondie and Ed Sheeran.

You can listen back to the show for the next seven days here.
